Daddy lost his job!?!?

For the past few weeks all we have heard from these two is "Dad lost his job! Daddy why did you loose your job? Mom do you want to see where dad lost his job? Dad, did you loose your job today? Grammy (or any other visitor), my dad lost his job!"
Well it all started as any other homecoming routine for Isaac. He walks in the door and the kids ask where he worked. He always tells of them of the high poles he climbed or the deep holes he dug. On Saturday's he likes to take them to his job sites, so they feel very connected to where dad works. They know exactly were to turn to get to dad's work and what truck he drives or what job around town he is working on.
A few weeks ago he had been looking at drilling trucks and studying to get his CDL for a big Solar job his company had bid on. He was very excited about digging 200 10ft holes for solar panels behind Cromer Elementary. As the date approached for the truck to arrive there was some delays and Goodman lost the bid for the job because they did not get the truck in time. No big deal that is how construction is, but the kids are obsessed. Every time we drive by Cromer, which is everyday, they ask me if I want to see where Dad lost his job. Every time he walks in the door they ask him if he lost his job and when they are talking to family on the phone the big news is that there Dad lost his job. They could really start some good rumors!
In fact Autumn has been saying "Mom I a think I am ready for kindergarten, I am tired of cooking for you guys!" It is so funny, but may seem odd to those on the outside. She enjoys cooking with us and in fact does make many meals on her own like green eggs & ham, macaroni, PB & J, toast, smoothies, tuna w/ crackers, egg sandwich, and oatmeal. I think is hilarious that she cooks SOOOOOO much for us that it is time for us to grow up as she moves on to school.
